An elderly horse with poor teeth can be fed these pellets either as a total hay replacer or as part replacer. We advise that they are pre-soaked to form a mash for this purpose. For a 400 - 600 kg horse feed 10.5 kg per day.
Feed 10 grams of sea, rock or table salt per day in addition to that in the balancers. After 1 hours sweating to cover electrolyte losses add an additional 50 grams per day.
For other weights, age or categories of horse please contact us for advice.
