What is spirulina for horses?
Spirulina is a blue green algae which is well documented for maintenance of a healthy immune system to provide a nutritional support for healthy skin and help to maintain normal immune response to challenges from fly and midge bites. This product, with a great profile of amino acids, is also very useful in helping maintain healthy lungs in response to challenges from environmental influences like dust and mould spores.

Spirulina is also a highly useful source of protein containing up to 70% protein. It contains an excellent range of essential amino acids and is useful for the support and maintenance of healthy, well functioning equine muscle.
