This premium Welsh Meadow Hay is a low-sugar, low-starch, fully analysed forage sourced from the clean pastures of North Wales.
With a combined ESC and starch of 7.0% (as fed) and protein content of 7.2%, it is suitable for horses prone to laminitis, metabolic issues, or those requiring controlled energy intake, soaking should not be required.
Each bale is individually wrapped for convenience, cleanliness, and easy handling.

Delivery Information
- Estimated delivery: 4–7 working days
- Delivery window: Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm
- You must be available to sign for the pallet on the day of delivery
- Pallets are shipped weekly: collection is every Wednesday, with delivery typically the following week
Vehicle Access & Handling
- Standard delivery is made via 18-tonne lorry. If access is restricted, you may request a 7.5-tonne vehicle at checkout (subject to courier availability – additional fees may apply).
- Delivery is curbside only using a pallet truck. If the ground is unsuitable, the pallet will be left at the nearest accessible location.
- Drivers are not responsible for moving individual bales. Please ensure labour is available on-site.
Important Delivery Terms
- Failed deliveries due to no one being present will incur a variable re-delivery fee, which could be as much as £100.
- No local pickup available for pallet orders
- Hay pallets never qualify for free shipping
- If you request delivery without a signature, we cannot accept liability for lost or damaged goods
- Specific delivery time slots are not guaranteed. If a timed delivery is essential, we can request this with the courier (additional charge applies)
- If a shipping cost error occurs at checkout, Forageplus reserves the right to adjust the amount
- Please do not pre-order hay if you are unable to take delivery. We are unable to hold stock for you.
- Customer mistakes regarding access and delivery lorry size are not our responsibility and will incur additional charges.
