This superior high-specification, ultra-low iron horse feed balancer has been specifically formulated for use with performance horses in moderate to heavy work on winter pasture, or restricted grazing.
The formula has been carefully devised using our own unique analytical data from the thousands of grass, hay and haylage samples that we test each year.

This balancer will support muscle strength and development, enhance stamina and athleticism, supplying your horse with the extra nutrients needed to maintain the highest level of performance in all activities.
This is a low-sugar, filler-free powdered balancer, packed with pure minerals and vitamins. The perfect partner for beet pulp, oats, alfalfa, copra, wheat bran, and other compound feeds.
How to feed the balancer?
All of our Balancers are powders, very low in sugar and starch, and free from any fillers, bulking agents or additives.
We use the highest-purity minerals and vitamins, ensuring against contamination from heavy metals, and maximising absorption rates.
All of our balancers are best carried in a high-fibre, fast-soak fibre of your choice.
We have a handy video here on how to best feed the balancer.
If your horse has unrestricted spring or summer grazing, then opting for the summer version of this balancer would be best.

I have been feeding the Winter Performance Balancer for a few weeks now and it has really improved my horses energy levels and strength and stamina for competition.
Kelly Elliott –
I only started using this February 2021 and I wish I had started it in November 2020 because it made such a difference in a matter of week. My mare drops weight over winter and this balancer seemed to be the only one that can make it stick so she was event season ready, my only complaint it that I didn’t start it sooner – silly me!

This product although quite pricey, is worth spending on. I have a highland pony who developed a compromised white line with both back feet affected. We have been bare foot since November last year. We have a very wet and peaty croft for the horses with rough grazing. I have been feeding the winter balancer for the last 8 weeks as well as learning all about hoof health. Who knew the hoof can be so affected by such a range of things like ground and combination wormers! Since using this supplement the white line integrity has massively improved and he is much more forward going on a range of surfaces. I would absolutely recommend this product for anyone with hoof problems and if your horse is barefoot.
