Yea-sacc 1026 for horses is a live yeast culture based on saccharomyces cerevisiae strain 1026.

Research has shown Yea sacc 1026® to contribute to the healthy fermentation of horse feed, enabling more efficient use of the nutrients in the horse diet.

This product is particularly useful for the maintenance of a healthy digestive system including horses prone to loose droppings.

Yea sacc for horses works by enhancing the activity of fibre digesting bacteria in the hindgut.

Second year of using Yea sacc and what a fantastic
Second year of using Yea sacc and what a fantastic difference. This keeps his poos from being sloppy and mostly stops ffw on the haylage. I give him a little extra during stressful situations and his tummy is doing great. He had colic in the summer so I put him back on this and no colic since. He does not like the taste and I have to introduce it gradually with lots of mint to hide it but once he is used to the taste, he eats it fine.

Really like the product. I was recommended Yea Sacc by our yard manager but to find one without other stuff. This fit the bill and at a decent price. Been using only a few weeks on our TB mare but droppings consistent and she's looking happy (just mareish!).

Hugo gets sloppy poo and free faecal water when he
Hugo gets sloppy poo and free faecal water when he has to stay in and gets more hay rather than grass. Last winter he was on haylage and I was having to wash his legs and tail most days as they got so messy. He has been on Yea sacc for two weeks now and his stools are great. I've even been able to give him a small amount of haylage as well as hay. He disliked the taste at first (I tasted it, it is tangy!) I had to hide the powder with beetroot or mint (the mint worked best) He has got used to the taste although he still shakes his head a bit.
