When Will Your Order be Shipped?

Orders received before 9 am will be shipped on the date of receiving the order, all other orders will be shipped the next working day after receipt. However, we try where ever possible to get your parcel to you as quickly as possible. We take telephone orders from 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday.  Our staff are here to help you make the right choice and get your order to you quickly.

Be aware that we do not ship or deliver on bank holidays or weekends. and that we do not guarantee next day delivery. There may be times beyond our control where we are unable to ship your order as soon as we would like.

How Much Will it Cost to Ship your Order?

*UK Customers: Please note that delivery for analysis and feed plans is already free. So these products do not count towards your total delivery cost in respect of free delivery on orders over £80 *

Next working day shipping is offered as standard within England, Wales and Scotland if your order is placed before 9 am (excluding Northern Ireland and the Highlands and Islands). However, we try where ever possible to get your parcel to you as quickly as possible.

You will generally always receive your order within 2-3 working days (weekdays only). Occasionally our shipper may let us down, please remember that this is outside our control and we cannot be held responsible for late deliveries arising from shipper problems. Other problems such as supply issues may also affect shipping times, please see our terms and conditions for more information.

Where you have not received your order by the third working day (UK orders) please email or ring us as we can generally contact our shipper and help with a problem so that you are not left wondering what has happened with no order!

Orders under £80 will be delivered in England, Scotland and Wales (excluding Northern Ireland) through our next working day service – please note some remoter areas may take longer and we cannot guarantee next day delivery although it is most unusual for us not to achieve this target.

Orders placed on our website with a value that exceeds £80 will be sent out the next working day (barring issues beyond our control), carriage free to all destinations in the UK except Northern Ireland, this only applies to orders with a weight limit of up to 50 kg. Orders over 50 kg may be subject to shipping charges.

We use UPS for all shipments within the UK and Europe. For analysis orders, we use Royal Mail.

Prices for shipping are calculated on the checkout page once your address has been filled into the fields. Your postage should be calculated correctly when you check out, however from time to time mistakes do occur and we reserve the right to inform you and change the shipping cost.

We ship Europe wide and have fast shipping times to all European countries, however, there will likely be additional customs fees or handling fees to pay to your local customs office or this may be requested by the shipping company before delivery is attempted. These fees can vary for each individual country so you should check these before proceeding with your order.

Tracking your Order from Forageplus

You will receive confirmation that your order is being transported by our carrier on the day of our shipping to you. You can use the details in this confirmation order to track your order. Please be aware that once the order has left us it is difficult for us to influence what then happens.

If you wish to track your order after it has been dispatched to UPS then follow the instructions on the email or text sent to you by UPS. You will need your parcel reference number which should be sent to you via email and if you have supplied a mobile number, a text too. You can then use the information sent to you in the email or text to track your parcel.

Make Sure you Track your UPS Parcel to Avoid Extra Charges!

UPS try very hard to make the delivery of your parcel successful. If you supply us with a mobile number they will send you a text offering you options to make the delivery easy. You can choose the option that suits you best, leaving the parcel with a neighbour, leaving in a safe place, rescheduling your delivery etc.

In addition, UPS offer you the opportunity to follow your parcel on their website or an app to your home. If you are not in you will be left a card detailing how to arrange a re-delivery or where to collect your parcel. This applies to all orders, both international and domestic. You have 2-3 weeks to collect the parcel before it is returned to us. It is your responsibility to arrange re-delivery or pick up from UPS if you are not in for delivery.

Please do not wait until the parcel is returned to us to wonder where it is, check your emails, track your parcel with the shipper and or contact us if you have not received your goods within one week of ordering. If your parcel is returned to us you will incur a further shipping charge in order for us to ship it back to you. To make tracking your parcel easier always supply your order number when you contact us.

How Forageplus Tracks International Orders

We try very hard to make sure your parcel is delivered and we do check the progress of all parcels to Europe. We may get in contact with you if we can see that your parcel is stuck in customs or if an unsuccessful delivery has been attempted, so please make sure you supply us with an email you check regularly in case we need to contact you about your order or your mobile phone number for a text.

If an instruction is given to leave an order in a ‘safe place’ and therefore delivered without a signature, the courier’s insurance is invalidated. Forageplus nor UPS can therefore not be held responsible if the goods are lost under these circumstances.

As the UK has now left the EU there may be additional charges in Europe for the delivery of goods. Orders being shipped outside the UK may be subjected to tax, customs charges and administration fees on entry to the country.  Forageplus are not able to advise on these charges. Information on tax and customs rates will vary from country to country.  It is the customer’s responsibility to know about and pay all customs, tax and administration charges relating to shipments outside the UK.

Incorrect details provided to Forageplus

It is your job to give Forageplus all the correct details regarding the shipping address to which your order will be delivered.  Forageplus cannot accept any liability for incorrect details entered by you during the check out process or given over the phone as a telephone order.

The responsibility to check that the shipping address is the correct one lies with the customer.  You should be careful to check that the address entered is the correct one for both billing and shipping as they can be different from each other.

If you give us incorrect shipping information and the parcel arrives at the wrong location Forageplus cannot be held liable but we will do our best to help you sort the matter out. Note that extra shipping costs incurred in this event will need to be paid by the customer.

Refunds/Faulty Goods/Cancellations please visit our terms and conditions page

Forageplus cannot accept returns of opened items.

If for some reason you receive a faulty or damaged item, or you believe your order to be incorrect, please inform us immediately (within 5 working days), we will then send you a replacement, an alternative item, correct the mistake or investigate further.  We will need you to supply photographs to support claims and return the damaged, faulty or incorrect item to us.  The photograph must show the shipping label. Please contact us to discuss the problem before you return the item by the cheapest signed for method (usually Royal Mail). We will refund you the cost of your postage within 48 hours once we receive the item if the item is faulty or the mistake was our fault. Please note you will need to return the item before we can consider any refund or replacement.  With some items, we will need to refer to the manufacturer and be led by their opinion on faults and damage.

Where an order may have been damaged whilst being shipped you will need to either refuse the parcel or tell us within 3 working days of receipt that the shipment was damaged.

If you wish to cancel your order you should do so before 9 am the following morning in order to qualify for a full refund.  If you cancel your order after 9 am then we reserve the right to deduct the shipping cost from the amount and a possible handling fee of £5.

If a customer wishes to cancel an order after the order has been received or dispatched then please return the items to us.  The cost of the return is the customer’s responsibility. The items should be unopened and in a re-saleable condition. Customers will then have the cost of the products minus the Forageplus shipping costs returned to them.  Forageplus reserves the right to deduct an administration fee of £2 which is in line with Paypal charges and a handling fee of £5 for each separate invoice. Customers outside the UK will have an extra £5 deducted to cover currency fluctuations and overseas transaction fees.

All orders including Analysis and Feed Plan orders which are cancelled more than one month after purchase will have an administration fee of £2 deducted which is in line with PayPal charges and a handling fee of £5 for each separate invoice. Customers outside the UK will have an extra £5 deducted to cover currency fluctuations and overseas transaction fees.

Please note that where a customer has placed an order to a value that free shipping applied and wishes a refund the shipping costs will be deducted from that refund.
