Forageplus have a commitment to fast delivery of every horse feed order you place with us. The beauty of our web based shop is that you can order 24 hours a day without leaving your stable or your horse and your order will arrive the next working day if you live in the UK. We also have fast shipping times to Europe. This means you will have more time for riding and and more time for horse fun.
Orders received before 9am will be shipped on the date of receiving the order, all other orders will be shipped the next working day after receipt. However we try where ever possible to get your parcel to you as quickly as possible. We take telephone orders from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Our staff are here to help you make the right choice and get your order to you quickly.
Be aware that we do not ship or deliver on bank holidays or weekends.
Next working day shipping is offered as standard within England, Wales and Scotland if your order is placed before 9am (excluding Northern Ireland and the Highlands and Islands). However we try where ever possible to get your parcel to you as quickly as possible.
You will generally always receive your order within 2-3 working days (week days only). Occasionally our shipper may let us down, please remember that this is outside our control and we cannot be held responsible for late deliveries arising from shipper problems. Where you have not received your order by the third working day (UK orders) please email or ring us as we can generally contact our shipper and help with a problem so that you are not left wondering what has happened with no order!
Orders under £80 will be delivered in England Scotland and Wales (excluding Northern Ireland and the Highlands and Islands) through our next working day service – please note some remoter areas may take longer.
Orders placed on our website with a value that exceeds £80 will be sent out next working day, carriage free to all destinations in the UK (this includes Northern Ireland and the Highlands and Islands), this only applies to orders with a weight limit up to 50kg. Orders over 50 kg will be subject to shipping charges.
We use DPD for most parcel items within the UK and Europe. For analysis orders we use Royal Mail. We use DPD for parcel items over 1.5 kg within the UK. For UK parcels up to 1.5 kg we use Royal Mail. Other orders outside the EU can be shipped using the best cost available, please just ask us for pricing.

We ship Europe wide and have fast shipping times to all European countries. Your postage should be calculated correctly when you check out, however from time to time mistakes do occur and we reserve the right to inform you and change the shipping cost.

You will receive confirmation that your order is being transported by our carrier on the day of us shipping to you. You can use details in this confirmation order to track your order. Please be aware that once the order has left us it is difficult for us to influence what then happens.
If you wish to track your order after it has been dispatched to DPD then follow the instructions on the email or text sent to you by DPD. You will need your parcel reference number which should be sent to you via an email and, if you have supplied a mobile number, a text too. You can then use the information sent to you in the email or text to track your parcel.
DPD try very hard to make delivery of your parcel successful. If you supply us with a mobile number they will send you a text offering you options to make the delivery easy. You can choose the option that suits you best, leaving the parcel with a neighbour, leaving in a safe place, rescheduling your delivery etc.
In addition DPD offer you the opportunity to follow your parcel on their website or an app to your home. Not only will you receive a one hour delivery time slot, you will be able to track the progress of your parcel on a map as the driver makes his way to your address. If you are not in you will be left a card detailing how to arrange a re-delivery or where to collect your parcel. This applies to all orders, both international and domestic. You have 2-3 weeks to collect the parcel before it is returned to us. It is your responsibility to arrange re-delivery or pick up from DPD if you are not in for delivery. Please do not wait until the parcel is returned to us to wonder where it is, check your emails, track your parcel with the shipper and or contact us if you have not received your goods within one week of ordering. If your parcel is returned to us you will incur a further shipping charge in order for us to ship it back to you. To make tracking your parcel easier always supply your order number when you contact us.
We try very hard to make sure your parcel is delivered and we do check the progress of all parcels to Europe. We may get in contact with you if we can see that your parcel is stuck in customs or if an unsuccessful delivery has been attempted, so please make sure you supply us with an email you check regularly in case we need to contact you about your order.
If an instruction is given to leave an order in a ‘safe place’ and therefore delivered without a signature, the couriers insurance is invalidated. Forageplus nor DPD can therefore not be held responsible if the goods are lost under these circumstances.
It is your job to give Forageplus all the correct details regarding the shipping address to which your order will be delivered. Forageplus cannot accept any liability for incorrect details entered by you during the check out process or given over the phone as a telephone order.
The responsibility to check that the shipping address is the correct one lies with the customer. You should be careful to check that the addressed entered is the correct one for both billing and shipping as they can be different from each other.
If you give us incorrect shipping information and the parcel arrives at the wrong location Forageplus cannot be held liable but we will do our best to help you sort the matter out. Note that extra shipping costs incurred in this event will need to be paid by the customer.
Forageplus cannot accept returns of opened items.
If for some reason you receive a faulty or damaged item, or you believe your order to be incorrect, please inform us immediately (within 5 working days), we will then send you a replacement, an alternative item, correct the mistake or investigate further. We will need you to supply photographs to support claims and return the damaged, faulty or incorrect item to us. Please contact us to discuss the problem before you return the item by the cheapest signed for method (usually Royal Mail). We will refund you the cost of your postage within 48 hours once we receive the item, if the item is faulty or the mistake was our fault. Please note you will need return the item before we can consider any refund or replacement. With some items we will need to refer to the manufacturer and be led by their opinion on faults and damage.
Where an order may have been damaged whilst being shipped you will need to either refuse the parcel or tell us within 3 working days of receipt that the shipment was damaged.
If you wish to cancel your order you should do so before 9 am the following morning in order to qualify for a full refund. If you cancel your order after 9 am then we reserve the right to deduct the shipping cost from the amount and a possible handling fee of £5.
If a customer wishes to cancel an order after the order has been received or dispatched then please return the items to us. The cost of return is the customer’s responsibility. The items should be unopened and in a re-saleable condition. Customers will then have the cost of the products minus the Forageplus shipping costs return to them. Forageplus reserve the right to deduct an administration fee of £2 which is in line with Paypal charges and a handling fee of £5 for each separate invoice. Customers outside the UK will have an extra £5 deducted to cover currency fluctuations and overseas transaction fees.
