  • For a 500 kg horse, in light work, fed - 10kg 
  • 50 grams of Forageplus Winter/Summer or Hoof and Skin Health Winter/Summer Balancer carried in a high calcium, fast soak fibre provider, or small feed of your choice. We suggest 300 grams of unmollased beet pulp and 300 grams of alfalfa to boost calcium levels which are low in this hay.
  • Include 100 grams of micronised linseed each day for omega 3 supplementation, if on less than 6 hours of good spring or summer grazing. 
  • 1 x 10ml scoop of calcium carbonate, 1 x 15 ml scoop of magnesium oxide,1 x 2.5ml seaweed (iodine), 1 x 2.5 ml methionine in addition to the Forageplus horse feed balancer. You may also want to boost levels of vitamin E by 1 x 2.5 ml scoop per day
  • After 1 hours sweating, to cover electrolyte losses, add an additional 35 grams of salt per day.
